Softball Preview: Doyle Tigers vs. Chalmette Owls

The Doyle Tigers will face off against the Chalmette Owls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Doyle is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: Brusly, who was ranked 11th at the time (Doyle was ranked 25th). The Tigers took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Thursday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Chalmette entered their tilt with Fontainebleau on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three.
