Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lima Senior). They blew past the Woodward Polar Bears 63-6 on Friday. The Spartans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
It was another big night for Ja'Niaus Avanti K'Mere Hall, who threw for 369 yards and eight TDs while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 64 yards on only six carries. What's more, he racked up 148.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Amontrae Davis was Avanti K'Mere Hall's top target, picking up 85 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
