Volleyball Game Preview: Central Valley Falcons vs. Yreka Miners

Central Valley hasn't had much luck against Yreka recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Falcons will square off against the Miners at 6:30 p.m.

Central Valley came up short against University Prep on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Yreka got the win against Lassen on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Yreka never let Lassen on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Yreka now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-28.

Central Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Yreka in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
