 The Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders fought the good fight in their overtime  match against the Austin-East Roadrunners  on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Roadrunners by a score of  71-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 When it comes to explaining why Gatlinburg-Pittman lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Ty Glasper. Despite the final result, he  scored 31 points along with six  rebounds and five  assists. Glasper has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Carlos Orr, who  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 11  rebounds.
 Gatlinburg-Pittman's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Austin-East, the  victory was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-9.
 Gatlinburg-Pittman will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Eagleton College & Career Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on February 19th. Gatlinburg-Pittman has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 304 points over their last four matches. Austin-East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
