Baseball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short

Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Eastern Alamance Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 two weeks ago.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Eastern Alamance, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Eastern Guilford has already played their next contest, a 15-4 defeat against Dudley on the 28th. As for Eastern Alamance, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 victory against Cedar Ridge on the 28th.
