Basketball Recap: Kings Way Christian School Falls to Bible Baptist Christian in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Kings Way Christian School had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 65-27 defeat at the hands of the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Kings Way Christian School's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Blasczyk, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Hayman, who posted five points and five steals.

Bible Baptist Christian was led to victory by Mikahil Mathieu and Logan Hamilton. Mathieu put up 26 points, while Hamilton scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hamilton has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points.

Bible Baptist Christian pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Kings Way Christian School will challenge Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Foundation Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
