Winters has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 11. They fell just short of the Colusa RedHawks by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 821st, while the RedHawks are ranked 399th).

Winters' loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Colusa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pierce the next time they take the pitch. Colusa will head out to face Pierce at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Winters will host them at 3:30 p.m. on January 21st.
