Volleyball Game Preview: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Champaign Central Maroons

The Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers will square off against the Champaign Central Maroons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Bradley-Bourbonnais has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Bradley-Bourbonnais didn't have quite enough to beat Stagg and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Bradley-Bourbonnais sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Champaign Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Peoria on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Maroons.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Champaign Central took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Champaign Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-22.

Bradley-Bourbonnais couldn't quite get it done against Champaign Central in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0.
