Northeastern proved they can win big last Monday (they won by eight) but on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the York Suburban Trojans and snuck past 4-2. Winning may never get old, but Northeastern sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bryson Neri looked comfortable as he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Brandon Charleston was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Garreth Calder, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

On York Suburban's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Pridgen, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
