Baseball Recap: Mount Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mount Pleasant lost against Tatnall back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Green Knights took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Green Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenyon Holman was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Sam Molina was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one double.

Mount Pleasant now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Tatnall, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Pleasant will take on Odessa at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tatnall, they will square off against Brandywine at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
