Soccer Recap: Kettle Moraine's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Kettle Moraine was the 3-0 winner over Brookfield East when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lasers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Kettle Moraine can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Brookfield East are ranked fourth).

Kettle Moraine's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8. As for Brookfield East, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kettle Moraine will host Waukesha South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookfield East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Divine Savior Holy Angels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
