King had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tyee Titans an 11-0 shutout. The final result isn't all the surprising considering King's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Tyee are ranked 233rd).

King's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Tyee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

King's will host Quincy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Quincy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tyee, they will challenge Cedarcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
