Soccer Game Preview: East Burke vs. R-S Central + How To Watch

The East Burke Cavaliers will head out to take on the R-S Central Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Burke's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for East Burke's offense. They lost 9-0 to West Caldwell on Monday. While losing is never fun, East Burke can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 548th, while West Caldwell are ranked 152nd).

Meanwhile, R-S Central also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Patton on Monday, falling 9-0.

East Burke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for R-S Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

East Burke suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to R-S Central in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
