Basketball Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Petersburg lost against Matoaca back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Petersburg Crimson Wave lost 58-33 to the Matoaca Warriors. The Crimson Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Petersburg now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Matoaca, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Petersburg will take on Maggie Walker in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at. As for Matoaca, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hopewell at 7:15 p.m.
