Smith-Cotton waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Capital City Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Considering Smith-Cotton have won five games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Smith-Cotton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Capital City, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smith-Cotton will venture away from home to challenge Helias at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Capital City, they will head out to take on Dixon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Capital City are facing Dixon at the right time seeing as Dixon are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
