Preview: Victor Pirates vs. Valley Christian Eagles
Victor has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Valley Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for Victor, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a serious blow against the Lynx on Saturday, falling 70-26. Victor has struggled against Lincoln recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Valley Christian pushed their score all the way to 59 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Drummond. While losing is never fun, Valley Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Drummond is ranked 13th).
Victor's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Valley Christian, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.
