Volleyball Recap: Dr. Krop Lightning vs. Hialeah Gardens Gladiators
After flying high against Sports Leadership & Management on Wednesday, Dr. Krop came back down to earth. The Lightning took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators on Thursday. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gladiators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-23, 25-11, 26-28, 25-17.
Dr. Krop's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Hialeah Gardens, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dr. Krop will square off against Flanagan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will take on West Broward at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
