Softball Game Preview: Kennedy Titans vs. Healdsburg Greyhounds

The Kennedy Titans will take on the Healdsburg Greyhounds at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Kennedy fell victim to Moreau Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mariners. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Healdsburg had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 12-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Greyhounds considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Healdsburg's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-12. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
