Volleyball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Deer Valley Wolverines.

Eli Geddes paced Fremont's offense, picking up five kills. Geddes got some help from Nathan Nguyen and his five assists. Tom Back controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Deer Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremont will face off against Mountain View at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Deer Valley, they will challenge Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Deer Valley their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
