Baseball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pascagoula Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly two runs.

Hancock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roston Ragon, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Pascagoula, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

While Hancock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
