Volleyball Recap: Marine Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

Marine Leadership Academy lost against Disney II back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Marine Leadership Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-16.

Walter Guaman was nothing short of spectacular for Disney II: he had 35 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Guaman a new career-high.

Marine Leadership Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Disney II, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

Marine Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Disney II, they will head out on the road to challenge Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
