Volleyball Recap: Stewart County Comes Up Short

Stewart County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor County Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royal Knights of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-14.

Stewart County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Taylor County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stewart County is set to challenge their familiar foe Quitman County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Taylor County will face off against rival Thomasville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
