While Mount Sinai put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Shoreham-Wading River. The Mustangs walked away with a 4-0 win over the Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Shawn Flannery was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Mount Sinai is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 8-9 otherwise. Flannery was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Flannery wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Benny Franquiz, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Franquiz has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Mount Sinai's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Shoreham-Wading River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

As of now, neither Mount Sinai nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
