Soccer Game Preview: South Davidson vs. Bishop McGuinness

The South Davidson Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Bishop McGuinness Villains at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South Davidson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against North Stokes on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Vikings. Things were pretty much settled by the half as South Davidson were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bishop McGuinness' good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against Winston Salem Christian, falling 6-2. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of four yellow cards before it was all over.

Dylan King wasn't going to let Winston Salem Christian walk away unscathed as he scored both of Bishop McGuinness' goals, bringing his season total up to 33 goals.

South Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bishop McGuinness, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-2.
