Volleyball Recap: Blacksburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Blacksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengal this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Blacksburg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Madelyn Gobeli was nothing short of spectacular for Brashier Middle College Charter: she had 21 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Gobeli has posted since back in September.

Blacksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.
