Muncie Burris extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-4. They put the hurt on the Winchester Community Golden Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Muncie Burris was led to victory by Piper Lanning and Amelia Howell. Lanning had 11 digs, while Howell had five digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Muncie Burris was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in six consecutive matches.

As for Winchester Community, they moved to 21-3 with that loss, which also ended their 16-match winning streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since November 2, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Winchester Community lost, don't look at Wendy Harris. Despite the final result, she had ten assists and seven digs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Muncie Burris will venture away from home to face off against New Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winchester Community, they will head out to square off against Cambridge City Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
