Meanwhile, Stevens faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Lynx. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Lynx: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21.

Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 24-9. As for Sturgis Brown, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-19.
