Football Game Preview: Maricopa Rams vs. Cienega Bobcats + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Jose Cardona Jr and Julian Hainley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Maricopa Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cienega Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maricopa will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Maricopa didn't have too much trouble with Nogales as they won 28-9.

Meanwhile, Cienega unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a blow against Desert View, falling 70-35.

Loss or not, Cienega got some senior leadership from Jaden Rodgers and Ayden Billings. Rodgers picked up 212 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Billings picked up 126 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Rodgers' longest reception was for an incredible 88 yards.

Even if they lost, Cienega's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Leading the way was Andrei Davis-Lopez with three. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Cienega's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Maricopa, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
