Soccer Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marion can now relate to. They came up short against the Carbondale Terriers on Tuesday, falling 6-2. Marion haven't had much luck with Carbondale recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

David Tallman and Myles Wiseman scored both of Marion's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Carbondale, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1-1.

Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carbondale, they will take on Althoff Catholic at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
