JP Scudder turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Thursday. He struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.8 strikeouts per game.
