Softball Game Preview: Cabrillo Jaguars vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

Cabrillo is 0-10 against Woodrow Wilson since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cabrillo Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Woodrow Wilson Bruins at 4:00 p.m. Cabrillo has given up an average of 14.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Cabrillo lost 16-7 to Bolsa Grande on Tuesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Warren on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 15-14. One positive for the Bruins, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Tallulah Watts made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Charlotte White was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances.

Cabrillo's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Woodrow Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Cabrillo might still be hurting after the 15-1 loss they got from Woodrow Wilson when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Cabrillo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
