Football Recap: Seneca's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Seneca unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 21-17 to the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-7 back in September.

Despite the loss, Seneca still got an impressive performance from Rylan Harwood, who rushed for 119 yards and two scores. Harwood has become a key player for the Bobcats: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Seneca also got a significant boost from Edan Lucas, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 94 yards.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mercyhurst Prep, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Seneca nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
