Softball Recap: Peddie Comes Up Short

Peddie fell victim to Lawrenceville School and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Big Red. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Big Red: they've now lost seven in a row.

Peddie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Salapatas, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Peddie's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lawrenceville School, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peddie will head out to challenge Mercersburg Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lawrenceville School, they will square off against West Windsor-Plainsboro North at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
