Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Naples sitting on three straight wins and Barron Collier on four.
Naples is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Lely.
Joslyn Baker made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Baker was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Leiti, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Juliana Argueta was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Naples always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barron Collier). They put the hurt on Bonita Springs with a sharp 17-9 victory on Tuesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.
Jordyn Kinn was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gianna Frino, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.
Barron Collier pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Naples, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.
Naples might still be hurting after the 13-1 loss they got from Barron Collier in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
