Football Recap: Center Falls to North Fork in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Center unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the North Fork Miners and fell 47-6. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Miners from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Csere, who rushed for 84 yards and one touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 80 yards. Another player making a difference was Braeden Flores, who rushed for 42 yards and one score.

Looking ahead, Center will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Olathe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Fork, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Yuma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
