Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Beats John Glenn for Their Third Straight Victory

Sheridan waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the John Glenn Little Muskies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Sheridan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-19, 25-19.

Maddie Stoltz was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024. Grace Stoltz also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Sheridan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

When it comes to explaining why John Glenn lost, don't look at Olivia Marshall. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs.

Sheridan's record now sits at 10-8. As for John Glenn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Sheridan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Morgan on the 2nd. As for John Glenn, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tri-Valley on the 2nd.
