Basketball Recap: Star Valley Takes a Loss

Star Valley was the 57-47 winner over Riverton when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Star Valley Braves fell to the Riverton Wolverines 42-38.

Riverton was led to victory by Eric Smith and Branden Monroe. Smith posted 12 points, while Monroe scored eight points.

Star Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. Riverton's win bumped their record up to 6-15.

Looking ahead, Star Valley will square off against Jackson Hole at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverton, they will challenge Evanston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
