While Jasper put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Northside. The Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rams, sneaking past 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Rams back in February, they had to take a 4-2 loss.

Not much got past Bryleigh Butler, who gave up just a hit to keep Northside off the board. Butler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

The victory snapped Jasper's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-15 record. As for Northside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 33-11-1.

Looking ahead, Jasper will face off against Good Hope at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northside, they will square off against West Blocton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
