Volleyball Recap: Alsea Comes Up Short

If Alsea was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mannahouse Christian Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell just short of the Triangle Lake Lakers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Alsea's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Triangle Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Alsea will head out on the road to face off against Oakland at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Triangle Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Siletz Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
