Basketball Recap: Beaver Dam's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

Beaver Dam's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took down the DeForest Norskies 59-45. Given the Golden Beavers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Norskies are ranked 139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beaver Dam's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for DeForest, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver Dam will take on Watertown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeForest, they will host Milton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something DeForest surely won't give up without a fight.
