Belfry wins going away against Jenkins

The Belfry Pirates had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 85-61 margin over Jenkins. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Belfry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caden Woolum, who scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Zade Rash, who scored 17 points along with 7 assists and 7 steals.
Belfry's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Jenkins, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Belfry will be playing at home against Berea at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Berea's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Jenkins, they will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Walker at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
