Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Franklin brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over Port Arthur Memorial on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Franklin as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for West Fork, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
