Newcastle unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Buffalo Bison on Friday, falling 34-8. The Dogies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

The win got Buffalo back to even at 1-1.
