Baseball Game Preview: Nelsonville-York Buckeyes vs. Millersport Lakers

However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes will welcome the Millersport Lakers at 11:00 a.m. Nelsonville-York has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Nelsonville-York is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Alexander by a score of 11-9 on Friday.

Walker Stone was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Zach Richardson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Millersport came up short against Miller on Thursday and fell 10-5.

That stolen base marked the first that Yingling has snagged this season. Nelsonville-York's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Millersport, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Nelsonville-York has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Millersport struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
