Baseball Recap: Jackson South Side Gets the Win

On Monday, the Jackson South Side Hawks beat the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats 12-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Trent Stewart was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Corbin Fesmire was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Jackson South Side's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Battle Ground Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Coming up, Jackson South Side and Jackson North Side will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 5:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Battle Ground Academy, they will take on Middle Tennessee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on March 24th.
