Catoosa came into this matchup off a tough eight-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Verdigris by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Indians have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Ryder Stidham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Catoosa's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Verdigris, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
