Softball Recap: Lennox Comes Up Short

Lennox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-2 to the St. Mary Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Orioles were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lennox's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for St. Mary, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Lennox wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-4 loss against Tri-Valley on the 28th. As for St. Mary, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 defeat against West Central on the 28th.
