With a playoff win on the line, Seaforth rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Person Rockets 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won five contests in a row.

Seaforth had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 18-25, 25-16, 25-15, 15-12.

Naomi Stevenson paced Seaforth's offense, picking up 30 kills. Stevenson got some help from Josie Valgus and her 54 assists. Ally Forbes controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Despite the loss, Person still got an impressive performance from Logan Hurdle, who had seven digs and three aces.

Seaforth's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Person, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-5.

As of now, neither Seaforth nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
