Volleyball Recap: Torres Takes a Loss

Torres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Livermore Cowboys.

Livermore found their leader in sophomore Samuel Walter, who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Walter.

Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Livermore, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Torres will challenge Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Livermore, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lynbrook on the 1st.
