While Eagle has struggled on the road with three straight losses, that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Andrew Palferman. The Eagle Mustangs pulled ahead with a 57-56 photo finish over the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies thanks in part to Palferman, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. He has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gaige Wall, who posted ten points. What's more, he also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in February of 2024.

Eagle's record now sits at 12-8. As for Rocky Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Eagle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-55 victory against Ridgevue on the 11th. As for Rocky Mountain, they have also already played their next game, a 73-42 defeat against Owyhee on the 11th.
